With an R-Value of 0.78 the Classic36 fully complies with the H1 thermal specifications meaning it can be used as part of the thermal envelope anywhere in New Zealand.
Impact Resistance: The Classic36 can take a hit and keep working. It’s RibCore core has approximately 20x more core to skin lamination than paper honeycomb core alternatives. Like all doors available in the New Zealand market with a 3mm door skin, there are some limitations that need to be considered when specifying the Classic36. Doors are manufactured using New Zealand-sourced natural materials like pine and MDF. Even with the exacting manufacturing tolerances Superior Doors is renowned for, these natural materials will grow and shrink with their environment. A 3mm door skin will mask most of this natural variation, however some substrate show through may be expected when specifying a 3mm door skin.
